National Association of the Deaf

 The NAD Board of Directors expects the composition of the CEO Search Committee (CSC) to be as follows:

• Board chair and representative (two slots appointed by the Board, one of whom shall be chair).
• State Association representatives (two slots appointed by the State Association and Affiliate Committee).
• Affiliate representative (one slots appointed by the Board, based on recommendations by eligible nonprofit affiliate organizations).
• At-large membership representatives (two slots appointed by the Board).
• Staff representative (one slot appointed by the Board).

Members of the search committee shall serve from fall 2009 through spring /early summer 2010, fulfill requisite travel expectations, adhere to the highest confidentiality standards, and undergo training.
