Buy the "Dummy" Hoy Documentary: "I See The Crowd Roar"

The National Association of the Deaf (NAD), the Roetheli Lil' Red Foundation, and Sprint Relay, an Equality Sponsor of the 51st Biennial NAD Conference in Louisville this July, proudly announce that a documentary about William Ellsworth “Dummy” Hoy will be available for sale at the NAD Conference, with partial proceeds going to the NAD!

"Dummy" Hoy was a deaf major league baseball player who played for the Cincinnati Reds, among other teams, for 18 years in the major leagues. You might have read about the inspirational documentary of "Dummy" Hoy’s life, I See The Crowd Roar. A chronicle of Hoy from his youth throughout his career in the Major Baseball League, this documentary is one-of-a-kind! A trailer will be shown at the Sprint Relay booth along with discounted copies of the DVD, narrated by Roy Firestone! THIS IS A SPECIAL, LIMITED-TIME OFFER

Instead of the usual $14.95 price plus shipping and handling, I See The Crowd Roar will be only $10 for folks who stop by the Exhibit Hall during the NAD Conference and DeaFestival Kentucky, from July 3rd through July 7th! What’s more, $3 of every DVD purchase at the NAD Conference will be donated to the NAD! At the Sprint Relay booth, there will also be a petition you can sign to support Dummy Hoy’s induction into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014. Check out "Dummy" Hoy's statistics!

And don't forget to buy your ticket to the Opening Ceremonies - and watch a stunning performance by Ryan Lane as William Ellsworth “Dummy” Hoy!
