Louisville weather is sizzlin', just in time for the NAD Conference!
Remember when we posted about the dress code for the conference, saying that July is the average hottest month in Louisville? Well, the temperature is above average right now!
Be sure to bring your reusuable water bottle (try a Kleen Kanteen, SIGG or Miir water bottle). Bring your bathing suit for your hotel pool, and be sure to bring sunscreen. Wide-brimmed hats, light and cool clothing and sandals should be the order of the day during the Conference week! Thursday is slated to reach 105 degrees, and you can expect temperatures to be in the high-90s during the NAD Conference.
Let’s think cool thoughts for the Miss Deaf America Ambassador contestants who are getting to know each other right about now, and for the WFD Board meeting happening right now! We're all excited about seeing you in Louisville, and don't worry - you'll get to know all of your new friends in air-conditioned buildings- the Hyatt Regency and the Kentucky International Convention Center are both cool and ready for your arrival!
