Here's the rundown:

• Our goal is to expand the NAD by 5,000 more individual members by March 31, 2008. The more members we have, the more influence we will have, and the more we can do!

   Having many more members also translates into more funds to build a strong and vibrant online network linking national, state, and local resources.

• like an old-fashioned town square – where we can meet, catch up with one another and mobilize into action;
  
• to share valuable local, state and national advocacy resources;
  
• where state associations and affiliate organizations can exchange success stories and ideas and learn strategies for accomplishing goals;
  
• where members reach out to other members and share events on a community calendar;
  
• where parents interact with the deaf community to help their child blossom;
  
• where guest v/bloggers share their perspectives;
  
• where people with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints are valued and welcomed.
