NAD Announces New Conference Motion Process
The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) announced a new conference motion process to ensure that more NAD national members, Junior NAD members, official representatives of State Association affiliates, and official representatives of Organizational Affiliates are involved and part of the development of priorities for the Association. Motions can now be submitted in advance for consideration at the 2006 Biennial NAD Conference.
The 48th Biennial National NAD Conference will be held at the Desert Springs J.W. Marriott Resort, in Palm Desert, California from June 29-July 3, 2006. Information about the NAD Conference is available at:

"The NAD is always trying to get members more involved so that the Association priorities actually reflect our member’s priorities," said Andrew Lange, NAD President. "The new NAD Conference motion process is a great way for members to become more directly involved in the NAD."
Those eligible to submit motions are current NAD members in good standing (individual NAD members, Junior NAD members; official representative of State Association affiliate NAD members; or official representative of organizational affiliate NAD members).
