Take the TDI & NAD Survey About Your VRS & Advanced Communication Needs
The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and TDI (Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc.) need you to take a survey about your Video Relay Service and "advanced communications and equipment" experiences to help our organizations and partners best advocate on behalf of best deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind community members in our comments to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) notice for proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that seeks to understand the way in which they should implement the requirements of Sections 716 and 717, which were added by Section 104 of Title I of the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA). In the NPRM, the FCC asks many questions about how deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind people use Video Relay Services and other types of advanced communication services.
