National Association of the Deaf

All workshops/commissions, business meetings and major events will be real-time captioned through Computer Assisted Real Time captioning (CART). Most large events and meetings will also have video projection along with CART access.  Interpreting services will be provided for all NAD conference program events listed in the registration form. The NAD Benefit BBQ Dinner will not have a program, so interpreting and CART services will not be provided.

Accessibility Requests
The NAD will make every effort to accommodate accessibility needs that are requested prior to May 31, 2012. Please note that the NAD cannot commit to accessibility needs requested after May 31, 2012, including the week of the conference.

Accessibility requests include, but are not limited to:

• Close vision seating
• Close vision, tactile, and oral interpreting
• Program book information - Braille
• Program book information - Large Print
• Support Service Provider (SSP) (2012 NAD conference program events only)
