Register Now for NAD Leadership Training Conference
Registration is now open for the Second Annual NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC ’09), to be held October 29-November 1, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio at the Hyatt on Capitol Square. The theme of the conference is Conquering Challenges: Leadership Beyond Barriers.
NLTC ’09 is geared to individuals seeking to improve their skills for workplace advancement and community engagement. Plenary presentations and breakout session topics will include promoting diversity and sharing of diverse viewpoints, being a change agent, staying on top of leadership trends, mentoring up-and-coming leaders, effective communication, serving on boards and exercising fiduciary responsibility, and capturing the power of blogs and social media. In addition, the program features regional state association and affiliate caucuses.
Conference registration is $150 for NAD members and $190 for non-members (membership is included).
Registration includes plenary and breakout sessions; conference packet with breakout PowerPoint files on DVD; and opening/dessert reception, two luncheons and closing/dessert reception - which also feature keynote presentations. State association regional and affiliate caucuses will be held prior to and during the conference; the NAD board of directors will also hold its quarterly meeting November 1-2, 2009 at the same location.
A special conference guest room rate has been negotiated at the Hyatt on Capitol Square where all conference activities will take place: $82/single plus tax; $107/double plus tax.
