If you are a professional in an early intervention program, a teacher of deaf students, a deaf mentor, or if you interact with families with deaf and hard of hearing children in some way, you belong at the National Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Conference [2].
The next conference will be held March 1 and 2 in Chicago. It brings together over 600 professionals working in early hearing detection and intervention, including audiologists, pediatricians, geneticists, speech language pathologists, health program directors, parents, teachers of the deaf, and members of the deaf community.
The call for conference presentations [3] has been released. Please consider submitting a proposal for a presentation and taking part in the conference. EHDI professionals and parents of deaf children need the expertise of deaf community members! Presentation proposals are due October 16. Find out more information about the conference at the above web links.
See you in Chicago!
