Here is YOUR chance to make a difference in the Junior NAD (Jr NAD) program! Only five (5) minutes of your time will shape the future of the Junior NAD program for the next generation. NAD has been around for 125 years and Junior NAD for more than 40 years, with the upcoming selection of new NAD CEO, now is a great time to revisit the Junior NAD program. You as current members/advisors, for the past 40 years, are our best source to ensure that the needs are met for a better and improved Junior NAD program. Share your thoughts with us. Together, we can dynamically transform Junior NAD into a program that will last onto the next 40 years and more! The NAD Youth Strategy Team (YST) is conducting this survey with several goals in mind including, but not limited to:
• Capture the essence of what makes this program a unique one. With a clear and unified objective, the YST will ensure that the Junior NAD program has an increased appeal to new members nationwide.
• Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the program.
• Pinpoint areas of improvements to complement the needs of today’s generation.
• Rebuild relationships between NAD, state associations, and Junior NAD chapters.
• And because we (NAD) care!
In closing, given your invaluable feedback, YST will be able to embrace Junior NAD’s motto, “Promoting the Tomorrow of all the Deaf by working with the Deaf Youth of Today.” We will be sharing the results, along with YST’s recommendations for NAD’s plan of action for Youth Programs, at the NAD Conference this summer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
