

Each year, Philadelphia invites the world to celebrate America's birthday in America's birthplace. This spectacular festival, the oldest and largest Fourth of July celebration in the country, features more than 50 free events, fireworks displays and concerts.

Welcome Ceremony
Wednesday, July 7
The official opening ceremony of the 50th Biennial NAD Conference will take place Wednesday morning. Our emcee is Melissa Draganac-Hawk.
College Bowl Finals
Thursday, July 8
Come cheer for your favorite team on Thursday evening. A Biennial NAD Conference tradition since 1988, the College Bowl brings together young, quick thinking deaf and hard of hearing college students for a spirited evening of academic competition.
Miss Deaf America Preliminaries
Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8
The 2010 Miss Deaf America Ambassador Program at the conference begins with the Preliminary competitions Wednesday and Thursday in the afternoon. The Preliminary competitions determine which contestants will complete in the Finals.
Miss Deaf America Finals
Friday, July 9
The Miss Deaf America Ambassador Program gives talented young deaf and hard of hearing women the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and poise, demonstrate their talents, express their opinions and share their ambitions while competing for the title to become a role model and ambassador for the NAD. The Finals take place on Friday evening.

OGG Breakfast
Tuesday, July 6
Come and enjoy a great meal, dynamic speaker and choose a delegate to represent loyal NAD members on the Council of Representatives. So, what’s an OGG? People who have been NAD members for three or more consecutive years are recognized as part of the Order of Georges and Georgettes (OGG).
Senior Citizens Luncheon
Friday, July 9
This biennial favorite includes a luncheon, great camaraderie, and lively program for everyone! A tasty and joyous affair for all!
Youth Luncheon
Saturday, July 10
Gather around the table on Saturday afternoon to enjoy a terrific program, and, while you eat, catch up with friends and meet and share yourself with new acquaintances. Celebrate our deaf youth!
Closing Ceremonies and Banquet
Saturday, July 10
A perfect way to end a wonderful conference week in Philadelphia! Join us at the closing ceremonies and banquet on Saturday evening a delicious meal and fabulous entertainment.
