Nominate Someone For #NAD2014 Awards!

The NAD Board member Richard McCowin, from Region 2, takes a moment to explain how and why you should nominate someone for the 2014 NAD Awards.  Do you know someone who has done a lot for the deaf and hard of hearing community? Here’s your chance to make sure those who have done so much get the recognition merited by their work. Each award has a different purpose, and you can recommend someone specific for each type of award that best fits their contribution.
The deadline to nominate is Wednesday, April 30, 2014.  Nominate today!

RICHARD: Hello! The NAD is looking for nominations for awards to recognize individuals who have done a lot for the community. To submit a nomination, visit www.nad.org/2014atlanta/nominate. When you go to the link you can select which award you would like to make a nomination for. You will be able to enter the name of the person you are nominating, and the reason they deserve to receive the award. When you’re done with everything, you can submit the nomination online, to the NAD! Nominations are due by Wednesday, April 30th! Time is running out so send in your nominations!
