NAD Supports AADB and HKNC on IP Relay Access

The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) fully supports the recent press release from the American Association of the Deaf-Blind and Helen Keller National Center asking for immediate action to make sure that no deaf, hard of hearing, or Deaf-Blind person loses access to IP Relay as a result of Purple Communications’ plan to stop providing IP Relay. IP Relay is an important relay service and for many Americans it is the only accessible relay service which to make important calls such as emergency 911 calls.
