JENNY: Hard to believe January 2023 is over in the blink of an eye, time flies! Earlier this month, the NAD Board held its quarterly in-person meeting in Kansas. During our meeting, we discussed a list of things. We are making progress on our five priorities, talking through what we need to do and where the committees are at. We also discussed the Super Bowl — information on how to watch will be shared with you. Also on our agenda, we discussed the NAD Leadership Training Conference (NLTC) happening September 21-23, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Save the dates and join us for a weekend full of training, workshops, and networking. We’re planning great ideas and topics to bring up during NLTC to support our communities. Besides our usual business meeting, we also had time to meet with the local communities in Kansas. We’re grateful for the Kansas Deaf community for hosting the NAD Board!
