The Education Section will support the mission of the NAD when it comes to the bilingual and multicultural education of deaf and hard of hearing children through various efforts, mainly through hosting the annual National Deaf Education Conference. Membership will be composed of various stakeholders, including teachers, paraprofessionals, parents/family members, administrators and other professions in the field.
The mission of the Education Section is to promote inclusive dialogue and the sharing of best practices in the ASL-English bilingual education field for deaf and hard of hearing students in grades K-12.
The vision of the Education Section is to increase knowledge, awareness and success in the field of education to directly benefit each and every deaf and hard of hearing child.
